      Hello Eduardo,

      When talking about solar cell technology the three biggest groups: mono, poly and thin-film technology. These groups have different manufacturing processes and they are the general classification on solar panel technology. Split cells cannot be classified as a separate group because they are already included in the mono or poly groups. What changes is the internal connection structure of the module, however each cell will still be mono or poly. In any case, a good example of split cell technology is the Q.PEAK DUO model form Q-Cells that can be found on the list.
