Happy Blog Action Day!
And what a day it was. A big congrats goes out to the three brains behind Blog Action Day, my new online pal Collis Ta’eed (go Latte!) from Eden Creative Communities, Leo Babauta from ZenHabits, and Cyan Ta’eed of FreelanceSwitch. It was a great idea and even better execution. They got 16,000+ blogs with an aggregate audience of 13M+ to write about their ideas about the environment on the same day, today.
Great work guys!
There are a ton of great posts that came out of today; a few of my favorites are found at Lighter Footstep, EcoGeek, 21st Century Citizen, EcoStreet, The Nature Conservancy, and Groovy Green.
Here at Ecotality Life we think the best way to a green future is through green business, investing, and technology, so to celebrate Blog Action Day I’ll share a few of our post from this week along those lines. Enjoy!

Awesome involvement! Was wondering if you would want to do a bit more?
I’m with a group backing the upcoming energy bill that needs to be passed. We want to make sure make sure Congress sends the president a strong energy bill with meaningful changes for our environment and planet. This legislation would be a monumental step toward stopping global warming. Go to http://www.energybill2007.us and sign the petition.
After years of inaction, Congress finally has a chance to pass meaningful energy legislation. The bill they are about to pass includes the best fuel economy standards ever (35 mpg by 2020) and a renewable electricity standard (15% by 2020) that guarantees the growth of renewable, clean energy. But there is a chance these two key advances won’t make it through to the final bill.
This is our chance for real progress, don’t let Congress back down!
